City Airport has two runways. Runway 1R serves only large jets such as the 747, while Runway 1L serves smaller jets like the 727. Large jets wishing to use Runway 1R arrive at the rate of 20 per hour, while the smaller jets using Runway 1L arrive at a rate of 30 per hour. Each of the two runways can service 60 runways per hour. Unfortunately, it is rather expensive to keep aircraft airborne while waiting to land. The large jets incur a cost of $25 per minute, while the small jets cost about $10 per minute. (This is still less expensive than crashing!)
