Top-Class Security Agency wants to schedule its security personnel who work either 8-hour shifts or 4-hour shifts. They work 8-hours nonstop or 4-hour nonstop without a break. The personnel who work 8-hour shifts are Officers: they are former FBI or Military personnel and are paid higher wages at $30/hour or $240 per 8-hour day. The personnel who work 4-hour shifts do not have higher level skills of those with the FBI or Military background and thus are paid $20/hour or $80 per 4-hour shift. For any given day, the number of security workers required varies depending on the time of the day. The staffing guidelines require the following minimum number of security personnel including Officers are as shown below.
