At the Easy to Be GreenCompany (EBG), we are committed to developing our people to their fullest potential.
Through the Tuition Reimbursement Program, the Easy to Be Green Company encourages and financially assists career employees in obtaining skills, knowledge, and the abilities that increase the effectiveness of work performances and improve their career opportunities. Beginning six months from now, EBG will offer basic, intermediate, and advanced courses in reading, writing, and math. In the meantime, your managers will continue to monitor and evaluate, which of these courses each one of you should take. Employees' may also choose to take additional courses without your manager's recommendations. These courses will be offered to you during work hours, you will also be paid for the time you spend in class. However, studying and homework, will have to be done on each employees own time, books will be provided. Your progress with these courses will be taken into account, at your quarterly and annual performance salary reviews.
All full- time employee, will be eligible to take these courses. In addition with your manager's approval, employees will be able to take off a half day, with pay, on the days their courses meet. To receive reimbursement,employees:
- Must receive at least a B in the course. Otherwise the required grade for reimbursement is C.
- The new maximum reimbursement will increase to $5000 a year,
- Employees will be reimbursed for books as well as tuition and fees.
- Finally, the company will provide a list of available and recommended courses at your local universities.
