Assignment Description: This task requires students to reflect on how the course affected them. Reflective essays analyse the course material theories, core concepts and ideas presented by the lecturer and then summarizes the writer's feelings about the material covered during the term.
Approach and Requirement: Attending all classes, particularly all lectures and tutorials and undertaking the week by week reading are excellent ways of preparing for this assessment. Have a personal log book: jot down key concepts, new ideas and learning experiences during every week's lecture and tutorials.
The development of the report is important. Always start with a concept map or plan to guide you. Follow the standard format of writing university-level assignments.

The Assessment Task will be based on the following criteria:
1. Response demonstrates an in-depth reflection on, and personalization of, the theories, concepts, and/or strategies presented in the course materials to date. Viewpoints and interpretations are insightful and well supported. Clear, detailed examples are provided, as applicable.
2. Response includes all components and meets or exceeds all requirements indicated in the instructions. Each question or part of the assignment is addressed thoroughly. All attachments and/or additional documents are included, as required.
3. Writing is clear, concise, and well organized with excellent sentence/paragraph construction. Thoughts are expressed in an excellently coherent and logical manner. There are no more than three spelling, grammar, or syntax errors per page of writing.
4. Response shows strong evidence of synthesis of ideas presented and insights gained throughout the entire course.
5. Outside sources are incorporated logically, insightfully, and elegantly. APA referencing used throughout is consistent and accurate and demonstrated ability to reference a range of both primary and secondary sources both in-text and using a reference list.
