Question

Simple organizational structure is the structure for many businesses when they start out and throughout the growth of the business, they will be able to develop into a different organizational structure that will fit for them the best to be able to become the an organization to become competitve in their market. Depending on thier market and type of organization the start up, will determine what organization structure will work best for them. Currently I am in a field of Law enforcement so I will try to place this into a organizaitonal structure. I feel that the Sheriff's Office can represent someting similar to a matrix organizaitonal structure. This structure has a combination of the funtional and divisional organizational sturcture groups. The Sheriff's Office have a hierarchy command structure and are very similar to a military based command stafff. Within this department, they have different divisions that will have different command staff that will be in charge of each different department. The leaders of each department will report to the man in charge, The Sheriff. In this line of work, we are kind of like a customer based business because we work for our community. We are here to protect.
