Three point charges areplaced on the x-axis. Charge 1 is located at x = a and has a chargeof +5q, charge 2 is at x = 3a and has a charge of +3q, charge 3 is at x = 5a andhas a charge of +5q. A fourth charge is located on the y-axis at (0,a) and has a charge of +2q.
a) Sketch the charge configuration. Show (and label) the electricfield vectors produced by each of of the charges at the point (3a, a). Show and label all distances, angles, etc. you need to in working the remaining parts of the problem.
b) Find the y-component of the electric field at point (3a,a).
c) Find the x-component of the electric field at the origin.
d) A charge (charge= +q) is placed at (3a, a), find thex-component and y-component of the force on the charge. Give magnitude of the force.
