Common everyday incivities are those behaviors that are thought of as rude or inconsiderable. Incivilities generally fall into one of two categories: Physical and verbal.

Think about the range of interpersonal communications in which you participate on a weekly basis. Indicate how often you have experienced any of these behaviors, and indicate how often you have engaged in any of these behaviors.

Use of inappropriate language (swearing, making sexual remaks)

Display of verbal aggression (Using abusive or threatening language)

Use of mobile phones in an inappropriate way (answering calls during funerals, chruch services, meetings, interviews, or other similar social settings)
