Think about ways you can use some of the techniques we've discussed in class, like telling stories, including characters, giving examples, and avoiding big words and jargon. One thing you might consider is starting your piece with a story about an older person who benefitted from exercising. Explain what sort of benefits that person got. Then explain the science of why exercise improves health for older people. Does it make the heart stronger? Lower blood pressure? Reduce blood sugar? Go through the benefits one at a time explaining how exercise causes a beneficial change in the body.
