Assessment - Investigative report
The purpose of the assessment is to engage deeply in the theory and practice of cultural understanding. The assessment will cover topics of culture, international relations, business context, and the theories guiding business practice.
This assessment is: - An investigative report
You will be required to demonstrate your skills and knowledge by explaining the history and current status of the Global environment and outlining the opportunities for and barriers to Global Business for a Tourism, Hospitality and/or Events industry area.
Task
Report on a contemporary global issue that impacts global business. The issue will be presented by the lecturer in week two.
The report will discuss relevant history of the global environment, the advantages (opportunities) and disadvantages (threats/barriers) to global business of the issue.
SLO1 Explain the history and current status of the Global environment for a particular industry area
