In this class we have mostly discussed Marx, Weber and Durkheim, a theorists of sociological change. At the same time, each of these theories have also tried to explain the potential for social stability and lack of change. How do they do so? In other words, which parts in Weber, Marx, and Durkheim's theories, could help us conceptualize situation of social stasis and lack of change?
