Assessment - Case Study
Purpose of this assessment is for students to demonstrate their knowledge and ability to critically discuss specific aspects of entrepreneurial opportunities, characteristics and risk.
The following subject learning outcomes will be assessed within this assessment:
• SLO1 Demonstrate broad understanding of entrepreneurship and innovation from both a theoretical and practical perspective.
• SLO2 Identify the attitudes, values, characteristics, behaviour, and processes associated with the successful entrepreneur.
Task/s to be assessed This is an individual written assessment in essay format.
Use the case study available on pages three (3) to eight (8) of this document. You will need to discuss the Problems listed at the end of the case study.
Your critique should discuss the following aspects of the case, referring to the theory covered in the lectures. Namely:
• Opportunity assessment;
• Individual entrepreneurial characteristics;
• Entrepreneurial risk and uncertainty.
CASE STUDY - SOUTH AUSTRALIAN BIO FUELS: A JOURNEY OF MARKET AND TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT
Use the Timmons model where appropriate to answer the following Problems.
