The waveform is one of sixteen possible signals plus noise. The signals are four bits long (0000, 0001, 0010, ... etc.). You have to figure out which one using cross or auto correlation. A 1 is shown by 1 volt, a 0 by -1 volt. The signal is 40 points long. Each bit is 10 points long. The 41st point starts a new sequence.

A Newton's ring apparatus is to be used to determine the radius of curvature of a lens (see the figure below and Problem 75). The radii of the nth and (n+16)th bright rings are measured and found to be 0.129 and 0.317 cm
If a particular radar reciever can detect the target using HH polarization at a maximum distance of 10km, find the maximum distance at which the target can be detected using VV polarization. Assume a standard radar equation.
he storage capacitor in each cell has a capacitance of 50 fF and is fully charged to 5V. Find the worst-case leakage current (i.e. during the refresh cycle 50% of the stored charge is lost) that the dynamic node can tolerate.
An intergrated circuit temperature probe is rated at 0-10 volts dc over a 0-175 degrees Celsius range. What is the temperture when the output voltage is 3.65 volts dc
