A transverse wave traveling on a string is represented by y(x) = 0.48*cos(5.6x+84t). y(x) is measured in cm above or below equilibrium, x is measured in meters, and t is measured in seconds. Please determine each of the following properties of this wave, labeling each value with correct units:

a) the wavelength

b) the frequency

c) the velocity that the wave peaks travel down the string. Please state the direction they are traveling.

d) the amplitude of the transverse vibrations

e) the maximum and minimum speeds of the individual particles along the string (in the up-down direction).
