Nitrogen gas at 60 kPa and 7 degrees Celsius enter an adiabatic diffuser steadily with a velocity of 195 m/s and leaves at 75 kPa and 22 degrees Celsius. Determine the following: (A) exit velocity of the nitrogen (B) inlet/exit area ratio A1/A2 Air at 80 kPa and 127 degrees Celsius enters an adiabatic diffuser steadily at a rate of 6000 kg/hr and leaves at 100 kPa. The velocity of the air stream decreases from 230 m/s to 30 m/s as it passes through the diffuser. Find the following: (A) exit temperature of the air (B) exit area of the diffuser.
