Assignment Prompt
Task 1
A brief background about the job: Your college's admissions office is looking to fill a position of recruitment officer.
Your first task is to imagine you are the manager. You will create 5-7 interview questions.
Task 2
The job does not require you to have previous admissions experience, but does assume some familiarity with the college, the college community, and the type of student it attracts. There are typically three people doing this job at the college--which includes meeting prospective students and parents; representing the college at regional college fairs; interviewing students; and evaluating prospective applicants--but one has recently quit. Here's the specific job description.
The second task is to imagine that you are applying for the position. Create a resume based off of your personal experience and submit it for the role. Please note that if you do not have prior work experience you would submit a functional resume. Here's some information on how to do that. (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.
