At the end of the TED Talk "The Day I Stood Up Alone" by Boniface Mwangi, Mwangi states, "In spite of being arrested, beaten up, threatened, the moment I discovered my voice, that I could actually stand up for what I really believed in, I'm no longer afraid. I used to be called softy, but I'm no longer softy, because I discovered who I really am, as in, that's what I want to do, and there's such beauty in doing that."

Question: The theme of fear and the concept of standing up to injustice comes up several times throughout the three texts we've studied this term. Consider two (2) characters from our course texts (Night, and Indian Horse) and compare how they dealt with their fears in the face of adversity. (In your analysis, you can consider whether your chosen characters stood up for themselves/what they believed in, or if they adopted the "smart cowardice" approach that Mwangi discusses.)
