It's my first time on here, so excited!! In my Intro. to Huma. class we have been asked to a write a paper. My topic is The theatre of Epidaurus. Then we are to relate that piece of art to a humanistic theme. The humanistic theme would be it's link to therapeutic medicine. I'm debating on which of the following thesis statements sound more engaging. 1) The theatre of Epidaurus is not just known for being one of the wonders of the ancient greek world due to it perfect acoustics but it's performances also served as therapeutic medicine. 2) Not only is the Epidaurus theatre known for its advanced acoustic design but its performances served as an alternative treatment in therapeutic medicine. 3) Theatrical performances at the theatre of Epidaurus not only had perfect audible acoustics but they also served as an alternative treatment in medicine. 4) The theatre of Epidaurus played an important role in therapeutic medicine.
