Research has contributed significantly to human services practice, program development, program evaluation, advocacy, and/or policy development. As a scholar-practitioner, you have the opportunity to contribute to this knowledge base and shape the future of the field. Because human services professionals typically work firsthand with their clients, they should be able to take human services research and apply it to practical use.
