6. What do police officers have to do to conduct a lawful search in the United States? Evidence seized by the police is EXCLUDED if the search for that evidence or seizure of a person is UNREASONABLE. How can the Criminal Justice System further ensure that police abide by the 4th Amendment and conduct only reasonable searches and seizures.

7. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was landmark legislation. What behavior does it outlaw? What was the legislative intent behind the law? Has it been effective in changing culture and people's behaviors/beliefs regarding race, ethnicity, gender...? Other than LAWS what other ways can inequality based upon these factors be addressed?
