The Power Point Project subject (Infant Mortality ) I need help creating a power point that is well organized and doesnt contian to much un-nessesary information. I have a problem of summiting presentations the way I would normaly speak, a contious flow of information with out sturcure of just one main topic. I need oh i should set my power point like a digram an example.

Power point instructions are the following

Imagine that you are an employee of a local health department, which has identified a health issue that affects the community and the resources for the delivery of health services. You have been assigned to a team that will investigate the health issue and prepare a plan for changing the health outcomes for the community. You have been assigned to present a power point to health professionals in the community, such as physicians, nurses, social workers, counselors, nutritionists, therapists and even health administrators. Guided by the four tenets of Healthy People 2020 listed below:

Improve quantity and quality of life

Eliminate health disparities and achieving true health equity

Protect health throughout all stages of life

Make environments healthier through a better understanding of the true social determinants approach to health

For this project, students are assigned a health issue. Based on your assigned health issue(Infant Mortality) , please create a power point presentation that includes all of the contributing social and behavioral factors or social determinants that influence your assigned health issue. Finally, develop a plan for addressing the health behaviors that are contributing to your health issue.

Presentations must address: a) facts or statistics regarding the health issue; b) contributing factors (e.g. social determinants; 3) morbidity and mortality; 3) how this health issue impacts health resources, and; 4) a plan or method for implementing change, including how the community will be informed or educated or an effective use of media to disseminate the information:

Power Point Guidelines

A Power Point is designed to highlight points and present viewers with an overview of the issue/topic. Power points, therefore, are bullet points of information, and should not have lengthy sentences or be visually overwhelming. The conciseness and clarity of the power point demonstrates your in depth knowledge of the issue(s), and therefore, your ability to hone in and emphasize the key points in a logical way that engages and informs the viewer. The Internet has multiple sites on how to prepare an effective power point. I encourage you to review information on how to prepare an effective and professional power point!

Must be at minimum 10 slides;

Must include an introduction to the issue/health problems, data, social determinants, and plan;

Must be in APA format, including citations. The last slide will have a full APA formatted bibliography (not included in the 10 slides);
