The research project requires students to undertake research on some aspect of Malaysian business or society. Select a topic of relevance to your interests in relation to Malaysia or Singapore or both prior to leaving for the countries. This must be submitted to me for approval and you must use some of your time in those countries following up the topic of your assignment. You then complete the research and assignment on your return. Needless to say the topic must be relevant to contemporary Malaysia or Singapore but you can choose a topic of personal interest in relation to either (or both) of those countries. The country analysis should basically be a piece of research, and not a record of observation or thoughts.
