Consider a non-ideal vapor-compression cycle where Refrigerant 134a flows at a rate of 0.05 kg/s. The refrigerant enters the compressor at -10 °C, 0.14 MPa, and exits at 0.7 MPa. The isentropic compressor efficiency is 80%. Neglect pressure drops at the condenser and evaporator. The refrigerant leaves the condenser at 0.7 MPa, 26 °C. Ignoring heat transfer between the compressor and its surroundings, determine:

(a) the rate at which heat energy is removed from the refrigerated space, in kW,

(b) the coefficient of performance.
