There is a chain reaction when it comes to the process of performance management. When an employee understands what is being evaluated in the performance management system, the employee can work to improve performance to receive the best feedback possible. As employees work to improve performance those areas that the employee may suffer can be increased through development. The development comes through the training offered by the organization. As employees improve, rewards can be offered through the form of raises or bonuses to help with increasing pay for the work contributed to the organization. Because this process is ongoing, should the process be identified as cyclic and need the support of employees and managers for success?
