Choose ONE of the conditions associated with orthopedic impairment OR hearing or visual impairments and describe how it may impact a child's communication and social/emotional development.

Discuss the educational implications for young children with this condition relative to peer interactions and learning. Discuss the quality of life implications with regard to the interactions among the young child and the family. Finally, describe three different resources that you would share with a parent to assist them in accessing local, state, and national information regarding issues of concern related to their child's condition.

In your own words, discuss the topic of the article and one or two key points made by the authors that resonate with you as an early childhood special educator.
