The persuasive essay is going to be about lowering the drinking age to 18, in the USA. Also, he wants to see my opinion which is which is with that topic not against, so you have to support my opinion and write about the other opinions by using APA style. I attached two PDF ( the guideline and the rubric).

1) You choose the essay topic.

2) The topic should be one that can be debated

Choose one side of the debate

3) Provide supporting details for both sides of the issue.

4) Disprove or refute the side you disagree with.

5) Use signaling words to indicate the persuasive elements in your writing

6) Include a minimum of three reliable sources for information

One in favor of the issue, one opposing it, and one that refutes/disproves the other side

7) Follow MLA or APA guidelines

Quote the sources in the text.

Include the sources at the end of the paper in a list of sources (Works Cited or References).

Follow the Purdue University OWL guidelines for formatting the citations and list of sources.
