A 28 year old female patient comes into the clinic complaining of pain to the lower abdomen, a low grade fever, and burning with urination for 2 days. The patient weighs 156 lbs, is 5’3”. Her vital signs are 99.6 – 96 – 18 – 132/76 and has a pain score of 3/10 to the lower abdomen. She has No Known Allergies (NKA) and is currently only taking an oral contraceptive.
