The motor of a household refrigerator consumes electric power at an average rate of 100 W when its internal temperature is 7degrees C and the room temperature is 27 degrees C. The door switches controlling the light in the refrigerator sticks and the bulb remains on when the door is closed. The power consumption then increases to 105 W. suppose that the refrigerator's overall coefficient of performance is half that of an ideal Carnot machine. What is the wattage of the light bulb? Suppose that the entire power to the bulb gets dissipated as thermal energy inside the refrigerator.
