Water is one of the most valuable and precious resources on the planet.  It is also a limiting resource.  Discuss the movement of water and how it is allocated.  What affects our water supply, both locally and on a global scale?  Give a specific example of how pollution has made a water source unavailable and what measure have/could be taken to reclaim that source.

Energy is in constant need, from the most developed country to the under-developed.  Discuss the pros and cons of some traditional sources of energy.  There are also new, sustainable ways to produce energy.  Discuss the pros and cons of these as well.  Points of discussion should include availability of resources, management, cost, and incentives.
