Question

Identify the diagnosis that BEST matches each case description, based on the available information. You do NOT need to identify specifiers, just the main diagnosis. Chelsea's father has brought her to see a therapist because she has been refusing to go to school. She claims to have a stomachache every morning, but the physician can't find any medical reason for this, so her father has tried to tell her she has to go back to school. When her father tries to get her ready in the morning, Chelsea clings to him and cries, sobbing that if she leaves, she will never see him again. She has started insisting on sleeping in his room at night, often waking up from nightmares where he dies and leaves her alone.
