Utilizing the APA template, you will provide an overview of the organization that you work for sharing high level information on the organizations background, structure, and aptitude for change.

Next, identify an Information Technology topic that could be researched for the benefit of your organization (i.e. artificial intelligence and implications for your internal technology practices).

Finally, review the readings and materials for this module and discuss the different methods for research. If you were to conduct research in your organization around the topic that you've chosen, which method would you use and why would it be fitting. Also discuss what your main research question might be in association with the topic you want to research. Do you want to know if your organization is prepared for artificial intelligence, for instance?

In-text citations and references are expected throughout this paper. Review research papers in the online Library resources to see how others have organized their research projects. 'Dissertations' or 'thesis' searches will produce the types of papers you should look for in the library. Focus on the first three chapters - The Problem, The Literature review, and The Research Methodology.

NOTE: If you are not currently working, you must check in with the instructor for direction on a company that you should focus on. Do not move forward with the approval of the instructor.

Make sure that you are NOT writing this paper in first-person. The paper should be written in 3rd person or a neutral voice. It should be something that you write for the organization in general so that your boss could potentially share it with other stakeholders - from the companies view, not your own personal view. Writing should be very succinct and to the point. Avoid words for emphasis and remember - any reference listed has to have a matching in-text citation and any in-text citation must have a reference at the end of the paper. If there is no in-text citation, it can not be listed in references.
