The Importance of Space Exploration
The Universe is all of space and time and their contents that include planets, stars, galaxies, and all other forms of energy and matter. Space exploration is imperative because nothing last forever including planet Earth. There have been 5 mass extensions in the past 3.5 billion years. Is the human race at risk of complete annihilation of its species? Our species will be part of the next mass extension if we don't make the effort and explore space to find an alternative habitat. Because of the steady increase of population growth, increased resource consumption, climate change by fossil fuel burning, greenhouse gases, and also the risk of unknown natural disasters, we must continue in investing in space exploration to ensure the everlasting existence of our species.
