Question: This discussion relates to me very well because our company has recreated the majority of our operating systems. To name a couple our scheduling systems as well as our company portal have been completely reinvented. The company hoped to implement new technology and organization strategies while also taking the development into their own hands In the past our company has run on software and systems that were generically created by other companies. These generic systems served their purpose but had many shortcomings because they were not tailored to our work. The new systems have fixed complaints we had with old systems as well as given employees a direct path to address issues. In the past, the largest issue with not owning our systems was the slow response time on fixing bugs. Now that our systems are company owned we can get a quicker turnaround on issues. The implementation phase has not come without struggle but the ability to make changes almost instantly has solved the original problem of nonadaptive systems. Reply Quote Email Author
