Assume that you have 120 molecules of glucose. All of the glucose is absorbed into the cell and 50% is immediately utilized in glycolysis and TCA cycles. The remaining 50% is stored as glycogen. Later in the day, 30% of the glycogen is released and runs through glycolysis and the TCA cycle and 40% of gthe glycogen is released to be used in the hexosemonophosphate shunt pathway to create five carbon sugars. How many ATP's are used or creted in each process and what are the products of all the reactions? Be specific and describe in detail what you have discovered.
