Geothermal steam is planned as an energy source for power generation. The steam enters and adiabatic exchanger at 2 bars and 65 percent quality, and condenses to a saturated liquid before exiting. The working fluid takes this energy for the heat engine. Groundwater at 15C is to be used as the cold reservoir, and the heat engine is to generate 3.70 kW. If the mass flow rate of steam is 50 kg/h, determine:

a) the rate at which heat is removed from the steam, in kJ/h

b) the rate of heat rejection to the cold reservoir, in kJ/h

c) the thermal efficiency
