Provide your thinking on whether it is the glenohumeral joint or the hip joint that will be more likely to dislocate. The shoulder joint is more likely to be dislocated than the hip. The greater mobility requires that there be fewer firm tissues surrounding it so dislocation becomes more likely. Two "fingers" hold the ball of the humerus: the coracoid and the acromion processes, but the acetabulum (Latin for "vinegar cup") is like a cup.
