1. Define cynicism.  Explain how cynicism impacts the business world and business leaders. Explain what can be done, from a business standpoint to combat cynicism your business.
2. What company or leaders have a good reputation with the public.

PART 2 

The word deontological comes from the Greek "deon" meaning duty.  Deontologists base their decisions about what's right on broad, abstract, universal ethical principles or values such as honesty, promise keeping, fairness, loyalty, rights (to safety, privacy, etc.), justice, responsibility, compassion, and respect for human beings and property.

• Define the ethical issues of this case
• Identify the consequences this case had on the company
• Identify the long-term versus short-term consequences of the company's actions.
• What is the duty the company has to their stakeholders?
• Explain why actions such as these add to the public's cynicism of business?
• Is it ethical to give the whistleblower payment for their actions?
