You are asked to design a robot that can right itself once it is left to free-fall. Bioinspired from a cat, specify the hardware components and the minimum number of body segments that are needed to achieve this task. As the free-fall height increase (less time for segmental rotations), will the power required by the moment (torque) actuators increase or decrease?
