Usage before:

The first cell phone with a built in camera was released in 2002. These cameras were equipped with 176X208 pixel color, which was basically a blurry image due to the low resolution of the cameras, but this was a huge step for phones. This advancement in phone technology was massive, users were able to take pictures with their phones. The pictures were not great and you could only hold a handful on your phone, but you could still take them using your phone. As phones changed, so did the cameras and the technology in the cameras.

Fast forward to 2007 and the release of Apple's first generation of iPhone which changed the game. Suddenly users had the ability to use the zoom and focus features when using the cameras on their phones. With the introduction of smartphones, camera quality and abilities have increased at an incredibly fast rate. Today, cameras within smartphones have capabilities far beyond anything that was seen before. These advancements help those to achieve their creative goals through means that were not possible previously.

Usage after:

Today, cameras became more develop than it used to be. With smartphones, capturing photos is better and tend to be used more than having a large camera. The iPhone camera is competing with cameras like DSLR.
