The figure shows three point charges of magnitude +2.0 μC,+3.0 μC, +4.0 μC are located at the corners of a triangle. The resultant force acting on the +4.0 μC charge is given by

1) 3.9 N at 97° with the +x-axis.

2) 2.7 N at 97° with the +x-axis.

3) 1.8 N at 97° with the +y-axis.

4) 3.9 N at 97° with the +y-axis.   

The diagram is an equilateral triangle by sides of 20 cm, and the+4.0 at the top of the triangle.
