Anthony, the owner of Anthony’s Disaster Cleanup has been charged with the felony of aiding and abetting a series of thefts by ten of his employees who have been charged with felony theft. The employees are charged with thefts while servicing customers. Anthony received many complaints from customers but dismissed them without serious investigation. No firings or any other disciplinary action has been taken against any of the charged employees. Anthony did not receive any benefits from the thefts. How do you think Anthony’s attorney might answer the following questions from Anthony:

(A) Could I be found guilty of the felony of aiding and abetting the thefts? Explain your answer.
