A rocket is held stationary by the horizontal force Fx and the vertical force Fz. The celocity and pressure of the exhaust gas are 5000 ft/s and 20 psia at the nozzle exit, which has a cross-sectional area of 60 in^2. The exhaust mass flow rate is constant at 21 lb m/s. Determine the value of the restraining force Fx. Assume the exhaust flow is essentially horizontal.
