The electric field in a cathode ray tube is supposed to accelerateelectrons from 0 to 3.20*107 m/s in a distanceof 3.00 cm. What electric field is required?

Our physics teacher is unable to teach physics. this was one of ourhomework questions and i found the solution online but none of theanswers match the questions answers. So i was wondering how toapproach this question and what equation to use?
