Diversity involves all the different factors that makes each individual unique. Factors including race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation gender etc. Diversity in an organization promotes acceptance, respect, and team work. In diversity management, companies address and support an array of lifestyles and personal characteristics within its employees. With store locations in over 85 different countries, Domino’s can serve as the poster organization for diversity; They provide equal opportunity for people of diverse backgrounds. Domino’s values and appreciates the diverse nature of its employees. It recognizes that the employees have different characteristics, values, styles, and needs. The company have removed barriers that could potentially limit an individual’s potential. However, the company does have a some weaknesses when it comes to diversity in the workplace. Communication may sometimes cause a challenge in Domino’s. A diversified workplace can create communication issues. While it is beneficial to the immigrants who speak little to no English, hiring them can reduce productivity. The language barrier creates a communication issue amongst the team members.
