Culture has many parts so it never makes sense to say that "The culture is dysfunctional" without being specific about what element of the culture is not working. For this reflection, ask a friend or acquaintance about their organization. Talk to them about: How does an employee know what is acceptable in how to approach the boss? How open can an employee be with concerns or criticisms? How does the physical layout work or not work as it relates to status? Any other question that would help you understand the culture. The final part of your paper is to explain, based on the input of your interview, would you want to work there? Why or why not, specifically as it relates to culture.
