Sometime in 1971, Islamic leaders of all major muslim tribal groups in the Philippines organized and incorporated the Islamic Directorate of the Philippines. With the donation of the Lybian government, they bought two parcels of land in Tandang Sora, Quezon City. These parcels of land is the only property of the said corporation. When Martial law was imposed by Ferdinand Marcos, most of the member of the Board of Trustees flew to the middle east to escape persecution. In the meantime, two contending sets of Board of Trustees (Carpizo and Abbas) claimed to assert authority over the Corporation as the legitimate Board. In a resolution, the Securities and Exchange Commission ruled that both contending sets of Board of Trustees are illegitimate and therefore their elections are null and void. Despite this ruling, the Carpizo Board of Trustees was able to sell the Corporation's two parcels of land to Iglesia ni Cristo. The corporation filed a case for the cancellation of the sale of the two parcel of land alleging that the sale is null and void. If you were the judge, how will you rule?
