The Consumer Decision-Making Process Consumers are faced with purchase decisions nearly every day. But not all decisions are treated the same. Some decisions are more complex than others and require more effort by the consumer. Other decisions are routine and require little effort. For marketers it is important to understand how consumers treat the purchase decisions they face. Directions: Write a 2-3 page paper describing the consumer decision-making process. Discuss the various influences in the decision-making process, the process of problem recognition and the information search process in consumer decision-making. Also include a discussion of the criteria evaluation process in decision-making and the outlet selection process leading to purchase. Use the APA 6th edition formatting guidelines below.
