Question- Gases are evolved in many everyday events. One very common example is the combustion of gasoline, which contains the chemical octane (C8H18). Balance the combustion reaction shown below. Then calculate how many liters of carbon dioxide are produced from burning 1 mol of octane assuming that T is 298 K and P is 1atm. (Hint: Use the appropriate gas constant, R, based on the units provided.)
1 C8H18 + 25/2 O2 --> 8 CO2 + 9 H2O
