An air-conditioning unit takes in outside air at 46oC and 100 kPa having a relative humidity of 16%. The air is cooled and dehumidified to provide an outlet temperature of 29oC and relative humidity of 39%. The coefficient of performance of the air-conditioning unit is 2.92. Determine:

a. The mass of water removed per unit of dry air

b. The cooling rate per unit mass of dry air

c. The input power to the vapor-compression refrigeration system per unit mass of dry air.
