The City of Houston has a water filtration system that consists of a large rigid tank with a single 1.5m diameter inlet pipe and two 0.9m diameter exit pipes. Water enters the system through the inlet pipe at 25oC and at a velocity of 4m/s. If 75% of the flow exits through the first exit pipe determine the velocity (m/s) in the first exit pipe and the mass flow rate (kg/s) in the second exit pipe.
