Testing the bounds of natural fibres
The purpose of this experiment is to find out which fabric out of polyester, polypropylene, cotton and wool is the most suitable to make a sling back chair. Polyester is a synthetic fibre (manmade fibres that come from chemical resources). Polyester is water resistant and flame resistant. It can be used for clothes like pants, skirts, tops, shirt and suits. Polypropylene is also a synthetic fibre it is water proof and is a light weight material. It is a non-toxic fabric; this means it doesn't get stained easily. Cotton is a natural fibre and is found on a plant called cotton flowers. There are many properties of cotton a few of them are it is soft, strong and durable and versatile. Wool is a natural fibre obtained from sheep and certain other animals. The properties of wool are it absorbs moisture, wool does not wrinkle easily.
Suppose a piece of silver jewlery contains 5.00 * 10^22 of silver. how many dozens of silver atoms are in the piece of jewlery.
If the excess of Cr3+ is discharged into a waste stream that is saturated with atmospheric oxygen at the pH of 6.0, would there be a significant conversion of Cr3+ to dichromate at equilibrium? Present numerical results to justify your conclusion.
five times in the course of parts a-d of this experiment you were able to dissolve an "insoluble" compound, something that seems like a contradiction in terms, identify each of the 5 compounds and briefly explain what made each of these dissolutio..

What is the velocity of an electron having a de Broglie wavelength that is approximately the length of a chemical bond? Assume this length to be 1.2 X 10 ^ -10 m.
Glycine has the structure NH2CH2COOH. it can lose a proton from the carboxyl group and form chelate rings bonded through both the N and one of the O atoms. Draw structures for all possible isomers of tris(glycinato)cobalt(III).
Predict the chemical formula of the compound that results from the reaction between the elements Si and O.
Phosphoric acid, H3PO4(aq), is a triprotic acid, meaning that one molecule of the acid has three acidic protons. Estimate the pH, and the concentrations of all species in a 0.500 M phosphoric acid solution.
